About Behind Enemy Lines: A Jayhawk in Columbia
Die-hard Jayhawk sports fan, Fred Davis, grew up in Topeka, Kansas, knowing two truths: love KU, despise Mizzou. After a stint in the U.S. Navy, Davis returned to the Sunflower State to attend his beloved school, The University of Kansas. He covered the Jayhawks for print, radio and television at the University and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. But Davis never imagined his life would take him to the worst place imaginable: Columbia, Missouri. Now residing in the home of the Missouri Tigers, he shares the perspective of a Jayhawk living “Behind Enemy Lines.”
